What is ArtCraft?
The name points to two related things: ArtCraft’s AI creative studio, and the team behind a separate family of traditional creative applications. The studio focuses on controlled image and video generation. The Crafting Apps cover tasks such as photo editing, vector drawing and page layout.
A link to the ArtCraft Studio is therefore not automatically a link to an online PhotoCraft or VectorCraft editor. Start with the task you want to perform, then choose the corresponding product.
Features and development status below are based on official documentation reviewed on October 11, 2026. We have not independently tested these applications.

Is ArtCraft free?
Crafting Apps and AI services have different terms
The Crafting Apps are offered as free, open-source applications. ArtCraft Studio also has open-source code, but its AI generation services have separate credit and pricing options. A free editor download does not mean every AI model call in the studio is free.
Code licenses and branding are separate
Official repositories describe the code as available under MIT or Apache-2.0. Bundled assets and brand materials have separate notices. Read the license and notice files for the project you use or modify.
Which app should I use?
For one JPG-to-SVG conversion, our browser tool offers a short route without installing a full editor. It is a separate tool, not an ArtCraft service.
- Choose PhotoCraft for pixel editing, retouching and layer-based image work.
- Choose VectorCraft for drawing and editing paths, including SVG and image tracing.
- Choose LightCraft for a photo collection and non-destructive RAW development.
- Choose DesignCraft for page layout, FilmCraft for video, EffectCraft for motion graphics, or PdfCraft for PDF tasks.
Can I run the Crafting Apps online?
Official releases include WebAssembly packages for self-hosting. A downloadable web build needs to be served or deployed; it is not the same as a verified official hosted editor. Check the individual app’s instructions and browser limitations.
The ArtCraft Studio has its own online entry point. Do not use a generic Studio launch link as evidence that PhotoCraft or VectorCraft is available there.

The official website is getartcraft.com. Its studio download page and Crafting Apps directory serve different products. Each app also has a separate GitHub repository and releases page, linked from our guides.
ArtCraft apps vs Illustrator and Photoshop
Compare the particular workflow rather than treating a family name as a replacement for an entire suite. VectorCraft’s focus overlaps with vector illustration; PhotoCraft’s focus overlaps with image editing. The official projects describe early development and compatibility limits.
Before switching a working project, test a copy with the formats, fonts and exports you depend on. This guide reports documented capabilities; it is not a hands-on scorecard or a claim that one application wins every task.

Is this the official ArtCraft website?
No. This is an independent guide with links to official sources. Our SVG converter is a separate product.
