What is VectorCraft?
VectorCraft works primarily with vector geometry: shapes and curves that can be edited and scaled. It is one of the Crafting Apps, alongside PhotoCraft and five other independent applications. The official project describes it as in development or alpha.
Features and development status below are based on official documentation reviewed on October 11, 2026. We have not independently tested these applications.

Key features of VectorCraft
Image tracing to vector
The official feature list includes tracing a raster image into vector paths. That is the workflow behind image-to-SVG conversion. The quality and cleanup required depend on the source and settings; the feature listing is not a guarantee for every picture.
SVG import and export
SVG support lets vector artwork move between compatible tools. Verify the particular file you use, especially when it contains unusual text, filters or effects. An SVG export is not by itself a cutting-machine or print-production certification.
Drawing and path editing
Vector drawing tools let you create and refine artwork beyond an automatic trace. This is the useful distinction from a converter: you can continue changing the geometry rather than only choose conversion settings.
VectorCraft vs Adobe Illustrator
Compare the actual vector workflow, file exchange and free versus paid access. Our dedicated comparison uses versioned official documentation and a practical trial checklist, without inventing a performance winner.
Is there a VectorCraft app?
Yes. Official desktop releases and a self-hosted web build exist. Our app guide separates those choices from a hosted editor or a native phone app, and explains which package to look for.
VectorCraft GitHub and source code
The official repository is storytold/vectorcraft. Find version-matched source, development guidance, release packages and issue reporting in the dedicated GitHub guide.
ArtCraft and VectorCraft: how they fit together
VectorCraft is a standalone Crafting App made by the ArtCraft team. ArtCraft itself is the AI image and video studio. You do not need to use the studio’s AI generation services to understand the vector editor’s role.
VectorCraft reviews and community feedback
Our source-based review separates the v0.9.0 project’s documented capabilities from individual user reports and a trial you can reproduce. We have not performed an independent application benchmark.
Reading VectorCraft Reddit discussions
Read actual linked threads, identify the app and version, and distinguish one user’s preference from a wider verdict. The community guide keeps third-party launchers separate from official downloads.
Need to vectorize an image right now?
For one image-to-SVG task, our separate converter accepts JPG, PNG and WebP up to 20 MB. It traces locally with no account and unlimited conversions. You can inspect the result and later edit the downloaded paths in a compatible editor.
Frequently asked questions
Is VectorCraft free?
Yes. The official project offers it as a free, open-source application. Its code license and branding notices should be read separately.
Can VectorCraft trace an image?
Yes, image tracing is a documented feature. We have not independently validated its output quality; inspect a sample before relying on it for a particular project.
Can I use VectorCraft online without setup?
An official self-hostable web package exists, but we have not verified an official hosted editor. Downloading a web build still requires setup.
What does “Vector Craft” refer to?
The product covered here is VectorCraft from the ArtCraft team. The official branding also uses a spaced visual treatment; use the linked official repository to identify the project.
Is VectorCraft ready to replace my current editor?
That requires a workflow test. The official project is in alpha development, so check current limitations and test copies of your own files before switching.
